Oxford Village Shopping Centre

  • Re-established the centre as relevant for the local community
  • Quickly introduced new high-quality tenants
  • Exceeded client’s financial objectives

Oxford Village is a neighbourhood shopping centre located in a prime location on Sydney’s Oxford Street. It is part of a mixed-use development which was extensively refurbished in 2005 with further works undertaken in 2016.

Rook Salinger was appointed in early 2017 to review the centre’s performance and develop a new retail strategy that would reposition the centre and deliver on the owners objectives.

The disciplined and targeted leasing campaign that we implemented, drew on our well-established network which enabled us to quickly secure exciting new tenants to occupy the available tenancies.

The centre now has a new Aldi supermarket and a soon to open JB Hi-Fi, with further tenancies skewed toward food and services, plus a fitness first gym and Charles Sturt university campus.
